Our Instructors

We bring different yoga & wellness perspectives and practices into one space. We’re all united by a love for meaningful work and real connection.

Brittany Weddington

Founder, Lead Instructor, & Breath-work Facilitator

Brittany’s journey into yoga and breath-work began through her own search for balance, healing, and resilience. What started as a personal practice eventually grew into a passion for helping others reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and move through life with greater clarity and confidence.

Today, Brittany channels that passion into her work as the Founder of Merkaba Yoga & Wellness Studio, the first and only space of it’s kind in Tullahoma, where she teaches yoga and breath-work practices that support both physical performance and mental well-being. She is also a mother of two beautiful girls and an NPC bikini competitor who believes deeply in the power of discipline, faith, and self-development.

Angie Loyd

Certified Yoga Instructor

Angie was born and raised in Austin, TX where yoga came into and saved her life. She moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and lived there for 17 yrs – this is where she became certified in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

“Teaching yoga for over 15 years and having been a student for more than 20, I have learned some things, and probably forgotten some too. As we evolve and our body ages and life unfolds it’s possible our practice becomes stagnant and/or limited, in the confines of a 75 min class.

My desire is to create a sacred space for experienced, devoted practitioners to deepen and refine their practice with grace and humility. Yoga is an ancient practice that deserves respect. And, I intend to give it the respect that it deserves.”
